Fundraising is not the most fun thing but it is a necessary evil to be able to do these types of tours. The fundraising philosophy of the West Covina High School Choral Department is that we all fundraise to the overall goal as a team; we do not have individual accounts for the different members of the Choral Department. In addition, no student will not be refused participation in an event because they are not able to pay the per student cost. Students and families are encouraged to consider donating the per student cost to help in the fundraising effort; this would allow for the fundraisers to help cover all more of the overall costs of the tour.
This is the cheapest tour that I have ever been able to compile. I have been working hard for the past 6 months to try and make sure that our cost could be the lowest possible while still being a full well rounded experience.
I have been able to get the price dow to ONLY $300 per student for a 6 day, 5 night tour!

There are several ways that we are raising money for this tour. One way is through donations; you can donate online using the link to the left or can donate in person through cash or checks. Please make all check payable to "WCHS Choral Union Boosters".
In addition, the Booster Board will be putting together multiple fundraisers and as more information becomes available we will be posting the information below:
We encourage all students to be fundraising on their own and bring the profits in as a donation to the tour. Some ideas for individual fundraisers are:

- Yard Work
- Asking for donations from friends and family
